The Minnesota Vikings are expected to release defensive tackle Jonathan Allen due to salary cap constraints, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
The former Pro Bowler had 68 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 17 starts last season. The Vikings are making this move as they are currently more than $40 million over the salary cap.

Prior to joining the Vikings, Allen spent eight seasons with Washington after being drafted in the first round out of Alabama in 2017.
