FAYETTEVILLE — First pitch for the Friday baseball game between ninth-ranked Arkansas and Stetson has been moved ahead by five hours.
The series opener between the Razorbacks (10-3) and the Hatters (5-8) is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. The teams are also scheduled to play games Saturday at 2 p.m., Sunday at 1 p.m. and Monday at noon.
Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn hinted at the time change following the Razorbacks’ 10-2 victory over Oral Roberts on Tuesday.
“I think the issue is Friday’s game,” Van Horn said. “Nothing’s set in stone yet, but it looks like the later you go in the day, the worse it gets.
