It is a sunny, warm afternoon in Fayetteville. It should be a nice night for the SEC opener between the third-ranked Bulldogs and the sixth-ranked Razorbacks. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Arkansas will start right-hander Gabe Gaeckle against Mississippi State right-hander Ryan McPherson. Both have pitched well this year.
The Bulldogs enter the series on a four-game winning streak against Lipscomb and Tulane. The Razorbacks have lost their last two games to Stetson.
