Nothing can ever be normal for the Baltimore Ravens, can it? As we sat here watching our pantry again get raided at the start of free agency, those of us with closets full of purple camo could at least console ourselves by remembering the fact that we had Maxx Crosby. Crosby, one of the most dominant EDGE players of his generation, a guy who gets after the passer and stuffs the run in equal measure, was going to give Baltimore the type of defensive lineman we haven’t seen around here since the days of Terrell Suggs.
With those thoughts keeping us warm at night, watching Tyler Linderbaum, Pat Ricard, Isaiah Likely, Charlie Kolar, Ar’Darius Washington, Alohi Gilman, Jordan Stout, and others fly the coop wasn’t all that bad.
