Clay Burdette, Xavier, Jr., OF (Cincinnati)
After sitting out the first seven games due to injury, Burdette batted a team-best .545 through four games last week, finishing with a team-high matching six hits, also getting aboard with a walk and three hit-by pitches for a team-leading .588 on-base percentage. Burdette also matched for team high with three RBI and four runs scored. In Xavier’s midweek match-up against IU, he went 3-for-3 and was hit by a pitch in his first game of the season, coming around to score a pair of runs.
