NBA analyst Bill Simmons recently weighed in on the Boston Celtics' bustling 2026 NBA Offseason trade rumors, offering his unique perspective on potential roster changes. Simmons specifically highlights New Orleans Pelicans forward Trey Murphy III as a prime trade target, suggesting a deal could materialize within weeks and that Boston is a strong contender. He also backs the idea of the Celtics exploring a Jaylen Brown trade, citing financial considerations as a driving factor for such a move. However, the prospect of Giannis Antetokounmpo joining the Celtics appears to be fading, with Simmons indicating a move to Boston is increasingly improbable.
