BOWLING GREEN — Lake Superior State didn’t take long to take the lead against Bowling Green, scoring three minutes into the game, which was just enough as the Lakers took down the Falcons 1-0 at the Slater Ice Arena on Saturday.
Wilson Dahlheimer was the lone scorer in the game. It was the sophomore’s third goal of the season for the 9-14-1 Lakers (6-10 CCHA).
BGSU’s offense outperformed LSSU in every category, finishing with 70 shots and 35 on goal. The Lakers had just 31 shots with 22 being on goal.
The Falcons (12-6-4, 9-4-3 CCHA) struggled mightily on the power play, going 0-for-5.
