The Chicago Bears have been busy in free agency, but they have not been retaining players as much as they have been using outside free agents to fill holes. The Bears' lack of interest in Nahshon Wright makes sense, but the rest of the league's lack of interest is a bit of a surprise.
Wright is viewed as one of the top cornerback free agents available. Chicago has not had great discussions with him on a contract because he believes he played well enough to cash in on a big deal, and the Bears understand that and do not have the means to pay it.
