Former Bears safety Jaquan Brisker is going home.
Brisker, who was born in Pittsburgh and attended Lackawanna College and Penn State, agreed to join the Steelers on a one-year deal Thursday.
Brisker, a former second-round pick of the Bears, wasn’t expected to return to the team this offseason. He played his best season last year — and finished with perhaps the best game of his career in the playoff loss to the Rams — but the team didn’t seem likely to devote serious money to both safety spots.
