The comment sounded a bit like a red flag when it came out of Bulls forward Matas Buzelis’ mouth last week.
‘‘I’m just trying to play the game the right way,’’ Buzelis said as the Bulls’ nightmarish winless February (0-11) was coming to an end.
It might have been the right thing to say, especially for a 21-year-old still trying to find his way, but it was also all-too-familiar babble that struggling Bulls have said before, only to continue to underwhelm.
So when Buzelis went to the cliché bag and pulled that one out, it was a bit worrisome — until it wasn’t.
