CLEMSON — The Clemson men’s basketball team learned where it will be headed and who it will play in the NCAA Tournament on Sunday at Littlejohn Colsieum.
The Tigers are the No. 8 seed in the South Regional and will play No. 9 Iowa on Friday in Tampa, Fla.
This marks the third straight year Clemson has been selected as at-large in the NCAA Tournament, just the third time that has happened in the program’s history. Head coach Brad Brownell becomes just the third coach in the history of the program to earn the Tigers three straight NCAA bids, joining Rick Barnes (1996,’97 and ’98) and Oliver Purnell (2008, ’09 and ’10).
