Every great sports story has a major turning point. For the 2025-26 Charlotte Hornets, it occurred February 10 and the team officially recalled PJ Hall from the Greensboro Swarm.
Back then, it felt like a snap judgment for a team reeling from frontcourt suspensions. But today it appears to be the smartest front-office decision of the decade. Hall had been pounding through the G-League like a man possessed before joining the parent club, averaging 16.2 points and 11.3 rebounds for the Swarm.
He wasn’t simply on the court; he was rehearsing for a moment he would one day face off with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Atlanta Hawks.
