Grateful Yannick Bolasie has credited Everton’s medical staff with keeping him upbeat and focused during his year on the sidelines, saying he “couldn’t wish to be in a better place”.
Winger Bolasie hasn’t played football since suffering a serious knee injury against Manchester United last December but is finally closing on a return having stepped up his rehabilitation in recent weeks.
By his own admission, the 28-year-old has not always been the most patient patient but he insists the work he has done with physios at USM Finch Farm has both left him in top condition and helped him cope mentally with his 12-month absence from the game.
