Fifteen years on from his dramatic introduction to the Goodison Park faithful, Wayne Rooney will be in The Everton Show studio on Friday night to look back on his unforgettable first Premier League goal against Sunday’s opponents Arsenal.
The striker, 32 on Tuesday, will join presenter Darren Griffiths at Finch Farm to give his recollections of his stunning last-minute winner against the Gunners, what he did to celebrate that evening and how he learned to deal with his new-found fame at the tender age of just 16.
Also on tonight’s show, we’ll reflect on Thursday’s Europa League meeting with Lyon, look at Club Ambassador Graham Stuart’s trip to India for Premier League Live and speak to Under-23s midfielder Beni Baningime about his new contract and hopes for the future.
