Mason Holgate says Everton will go to Crystal Palace “buzzing” and intent on coming out “firing” in pursuit of a second Premier League success on the bounce.
The Toffees are poised to return to action at Selhurst Park on Saturday, 13 days after signing off for the international break with a 3-2 victory over Watford.
Defender Holgate has started four top-flight matches this term but not featured domestically since the draw at Brighton & Hove Albion last month.
The 21-year-old has nevertheless played both the Toffees’ Europa League games against Lyon in the intervening period and is promising to be ready to seize his next Premier League opportunity, whenever it comes.
