David Unsworth says “terrific talent” Jonjoe Kenny is “getting better every week”.
Kenny has embarked on a rapid rise this season, following up his summer Under-20 World Cup success with England by establishing himself as Everton’s first-choice right-back.
The 20-year-old made his full Toffees debut in the 3-0 Carabao Cup victory over Sunderland back in September, and three days later had a first Premier League outing this season – and third in all – when he came on with the Blues’ trailing Bournemouth 1-0, a deficit they would turn around to win the match 2-1.
