Everton have reopened talks with Sam Allardyce to become their new manager, according to reports.
Allardyce was an early candidate to succeed Ronald Koeman after he was sacked over a month ago.
However, he later publicly pulled out of the running for the job, telling talkSPORT he was no longer interested after the Toffees took too long in their initial negotiations.
But after failing to land their top target, Watford head coach Marco Silva, and falling further into the mire under caretaker boss David Unsworth, Everton have returned to the former England boss to save their season.
