Back in 2018, when FIFA awarded the hosting rights to the 2026 World Cup to Canada, Mexico and the United States, the positives seemed unmatched. The appetite for the sport in all three countries is vast. The underlying infrastructure in terms of transportation, stadiums and training sites is impressive.
