One of the biggest games in Georgia football history could be up next if UGA beats Ole Miss at the Sugar Bowl. Miami took down Ohio State Wednesday night in the first quarterfinal game of this year’s playoff, and that sets up the potential for a showdown between Georgia and former UGA quarterback Carson Beck in the semifinals.
Beck and Miami already did their part to create this matchup, so now they get to sit back and see if Georgia or Ole Miss will win Thursday night. But the moment Miami beat OSU everyone was talking about him potentially facing his former team.
