New Houston Texans safety Reed Blankenship arrived in the Bayou City last week after four years with the Philadelphia Eagles. But even after four years in the northeast, Blankenship insists he's already on the path to becoming a true Houstonian.
"Oh, I have like three or four [pairs]," Blankenship said Wednesday regarding his current collection of cowboy boots. "I'm vetted."
Blankenship, 27, signed a three-year, $24.75 million contract with the Texans early last week, joining Houston after a stint in Philadelphia where he started 50 games, recorded 308 tackles and won Super Bowl LIX in the 2024 season.
