TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Indiana State Softball returns home this weekend, as the Sycamores host the UIC Flames for a three-game series on March 13th-14th. ISU and the Flames will open the series with a doubleheader on Friday before concluding the matchup with a single game on Saturday.
This series marks Indiana State's second conference matchup and will look to carry momentum from last weekend's successful series against Bradley and strong performance against Purdue.
The Sycamores showcased strong defensive play and hitting throughout their first Conference series. In their first win over the Braves, ISU exploded with a 10-2 win highlighted by three home runs by freshmen Mallory Chavez and Addie Burns, and junior Lauren Marsicek, as well as a six-run fifth inning rally.
