Dave “Buzz” Baker will no longer be doing the Kentucky pre-game shows for the UK Sports Network after Saturday’s game against Florida.
Baker revealed on WKYT this morning that JMI Sports has let him go after 37 years.
Here is an excerpt:
I have hosted radio shows, delivered play-by-play on radio and TV, organized programs and covered events in schools, on fields and courts throughout this state and the SEC. That led to my 2nd longest professional relationship – 37 years as pre-game host for the UK Sports Network that broadcasts men’s football and basketball.
