If I were to tell you that Kentucky ranks 4th in the entire country in an offensive category, you might think me mad and ripe for the loony house. I don’t know why you’d be talking like a Brit in the 1920s, using words like ‘mad’ and ‘loony house,’ but you’d most certainly call me crazy. There is no way a team so apt to go on extended field goal droughts could rank near the top of college basketball in any scoring category.
Ahem, allow me to introduce you to the 2025-26 Kentucky Wildcats, a group so prone to maddening surprises that they are going to put the entirety of Big Blue Nation in the loony house before the season is over.
