Stephen A. Smith twists Kawhi Leonard’s All-Star performance into flawed criticism

Although Anthony Edwards took home the All-Star game MVP after winning the championship, the LA Clippers’ franchise superstar, Kawhi Leonard, had the best performance on the night, with 31 points and two steals, shooting 11-13 from the field, in 12 minutes versus “Team Stripes.” However, on the ‘First Take’, Stephen A. Smith refuses to hop on the train of praising Leonard’s exceptional night and opts to twist it into criticism of his availability in the playoffs, which was already disproven in the 2025 postseason.
