SportsNet LA commentator Eric Karros commented on the Dodgers’ decision to option Hyeseong Kim to Triple-A on Sunday’s broadcast.
The Dodgers shocked fans with their decision to send Kim, who posted fantastic numbers throughout spring training, to Triple-A ahead of the regular season. In Cactus League play, Kim had a .407 batting average and a .967 OPS, hitting a singular home run and driving in six runs through nine games.
Despite this, the Dodgers kept No. 4 prospect Alex Freeland on the roster over the utility man.
“If I’m Kim, obviously I’m upset,” Karros said.
