Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts opened up about Mookie Betts’ absence from the Spring Training camp.
Betts has been quite the busy man over the past couple of months, serving as a coach for the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game and preparing for the birth of his third child, which stopped him from playing in the World Baseball Classic.
He had a delayed start to Spring Training, easing his way onto the field for a handful of games, though Betts has now left the camp in Arizona to join his wife in Los Angeles, according to manager Dave Roberts.
