Dodgers Hyeseong Kim’s Injury Status Revealed

Los Angeles Dodgers utility man Hyeseong Kim’s hand injury is “nothing of concern,” per the California Post’s Jack Harris.

Kim suffered a left hand injury in Team Korea’s third pool play game against Chinese Taipei, a game which they lost, 5-4. The 27-year-old stole second base in the bottom of the 10th inning, sliding head first and injuring himself in the process. He remained in for the short remainder of the game, but missed Korea’s final Pool C matchup against Team Australia the following day.

Team Korea manager Ji-Hyun Ryu gave a similar update to Harris per Roundtable Sports’ Adrian Medina, saying Kim was fit to play against Team Australia and shouldn’t have any issue playing in the knockout rounds.
