Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Gavin Stone revealed how much he worked he worked on his changeup during his rehab from shoulder reconstruction surgery.
Stone made his first start for the Dodgers since Aug. 2024 on Tuesday, logging a single inning and recording two strikeouts without allowing a baserunner. Seven of the 15 pitches he threw were changeups, and he recorded all three outs with the pitch.
“It feels really good,” Stone said about his changeup. “I was here for a while so I had a lot of time to work on it, and it was one of the pitches that didn’t really hurt to throw during the rehab process.
