The LSU Baseball team suffered its first loss of the season earlier this week on Tuesday night. The Tigers fell to McNeese by a score of 7-6 to fall to 8-1 on the season.
To make matters worse, starting catcher Cade Arrambide went down with a foot injury in the 4th innings. The injury occurred when he took a foul ball off his foot behind the plate, and he was unable to return to the field.
As LSU prepares to play four games in four days starting on Friday, not having Arrambide available behind the plate would be a tough loss.
