The Dutch midfielder has returned from injury and made a substitute appearance in our last Europa League outing, the 3-0 win over Sheriff Tiraspol, before travelling with the squad to Spain for the final Group E decider with Real Sociedad.
Manager Erik ten Hag, who worked with the player at Ajax, has suggested the 25-year-old is capable of being a real attacking threat and playing between the lines, so it will be interesting to see if he gets the chance to impress before the break for the winter World Cup.
