We are in the beginning stages of the 2027 recruiting cycle. Michigan Football has gotten off to a slow start in the 2027 class due to staff overhaul, but the Wolverines are working hard to give themselves a chance with the nation's elite. With the 2026 class having finished 12th in the nation, it will be interesting to see if Michigan can replicate that success, considering its late start.

There's been some concern surrounding the hire of Kyle Whittingham regarding recruiting. Questions have been asked about the 66 year old coaches recruiting drive, whether or not he would embrace NIL, and if he would be willing to pursue the best prospects in the nation.
