UNC is wasting its time considering Dusty May as a candidate

Two days before the start of the Sweet 16, the North Carolina Tar Heels dropped a bombshell on the coaching world that they would be moving on from Hubert Davis.

It wasn't the biggest shock in the world. North Carolina, which was seeded sixth going into the NCAA Tournament, was upset in the first round by VCU. It was the latest in a series of ups and downs for the Tar Heels under Davis, although they did reach the national title game in his first season.

Regardless, one of the biggest jobs in college basketball, right up there with Duke, Kentucky, and Kansas, which could be open soon, too, North Carolina is an elite job.
