Ian Machado Garry has alleged that UFC welterweight champion Islam Makhachev is not ready to fight him.
The No. 2-ranked 170-pound contender has been preparing for a potential title fight since he beat Belal Muhammad last year in Qatar.
A few weeks back, the Irishman went to Gori, Georgia, to refine his wrestling so that when the time comes, he is ready in every way to dethrone Makhachev.
Islam Makhachev is expected to make the first defense of his welterweight championship after Ramadan. As per Khabib Nurmagomedov, the 34-year-old will be back in action between May and July.
