It was announced on Friday that Alex Pereira planned to vacate the Ultimate Fighting Championship light heavyweight title, with the presumption that he would move up to the heavyweight division. To fill the vacancy, former light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka will square off against Carlos Ulberg at UFC 327 to determine the next kingpin at 205 pounds.
