Yago Antunes of Clutch Sports listed the New Orleans Saints as one of four teams that would fit Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson. "Roster logic" aside, the selection would be a waste of a draft pick for Black and Gold.
Antunes said it's a good fit because the Saints are one of the few teams that treat their offensive structure like a religion. "That environment is friendly to Simpson. Alabama asked him to operate with discipline, and his best stretches looked like a quarterback who was comfortable playing on script, then taking the occasional shot when the defense finally overcommitted.
