Make it two wins against Top 10 opponents in one day for the Oklahoma State softball team.
On Friday, the Cowgirls knocked off No. 7 UCLA 4-3 in walk-off fashion at the Clearwater Invitational after defeating No. 8 Texas A&M in the game prior. The win against the Bruins puts OSU at 6-3 and gives coach Kenny Gajewski his 27th win against Top 10 teams.
OSU jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first running courtesy Rosie Davis’ three-run home run, but UCLA fought its way back to even things up. The Bruins scored one run on OSU starter Preslee Downing, one on reliever RyLee Crandall and a third on Ruby Meylan in the sixth inning.
