MIAMI — In the day leading up to Wednesday’s matchup between the Magic and Heat, multiple Orlando players pointed towards the desperate need of snapping the team’s losing streak sooner rather than later.
Jamahl Mosley‘s squad rose to the occasion on the road when it captured a 133-124 victory against Miami.
In a contest that featured 11 lead changes inside Kaseya Center, Orlando used a big third quarter in which it outscored Miami 40-20 to hold an 11-point advantage entering the final 12 minutes.
Playing without Franz Wagner (left high ankle sprain injury management) for fourth straight game, the Magic were led by Paolo Banchero (31 points), Anthony Black (26), and Desmond Bane (23), who combined for 80.
