Many Philadelphia Eagles fans have been pushing the team to consider a change in their kicker, Jake Elliott, after his recent struggles.
Elliott has not hit over 80% of his field goals in each of the last two seasons; in 2025, he converted only 74%, the second-lowest of his NFL career. While the Eagles decided to restructure Elliott's contract to keep him in 2026, it has not stopped the noise from the fan base to do something about the kicker position.
NFL reporter Arye Pulli had an interesting update as the Eagles were reportedly in attendance for UTSA's Pro Day to check out kicker Jaffer Murphy.
