Well, the Philadelphia Eagles might have missed out on trading for Maxx Crosby, but Eagles fans can at least be happy that they locked up one of their top players for a long period of time.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that the Eagles are finalizing a contract extension with defensive tackle Jordan Davis. The deal is for three years, $78 million, with $65 million guaranteed. That total deal is worth $26 million per year, making him the highest-paid defensive tackle in NFL history.
Last season was a memorable one for Davis as it was the best one of his NFL career.
