Calvin Austin III signed with John Harbaugh and the New York Giants on Thursday, leaving the team that drafted him four years ago. With his departure, he issued a goodbye to the city of Pittsburgh, the Steelers organization, and the fans.
“After 4 incredible years in Pittsburgh, it’s time to turn the page,” Austin wrote on Instagram. “To the Steelers organization, my teammates, coaches, and especially the fans, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You took a kid who had only ever known Memphis and made Pittsburgh feel like home. The love, support, memories, and brotherhood we built together mean more than I can express.
