The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have hired not just Danny Smith but his nephew Luke Smith for Todd Bowles’ new-look coaching staff. Like Pittsburgh did earlier in the day, Tampa Bay finalized its own coaching staff Thursday with both Smiths on staff.
Officially, Luke will wear the title of Assistant Special Teams Coordinator to Danny in the lead role.
Another new name announced by the Bucs today: Luke Smith will be the team's assistant special teams coach. He spent eight years coaching at Duquesne and was a quality control coach with the Steelers last year.
