Should the Steelers interview Sean McDermott?
The Steelers really have no ties for former Bills HC Sean McDermott, at least now that Mike Tomlin is no longer there. Still, he is a respected head coach whose firing came as something of a surprise. While one can accuse him of falling short in the playoff with an MVP quarterback, he is a proven leader.
After all, the Steelers are interviewing Mike McCarthy, so why not Sean McDermott? An interview can be as much a resource-gathering experience for a franchise as anything. Interviewing McDermott doesn’t mean hiring him.
