Texas SF Dailyn Swain has been a leader on and off the court for the Longhorns this year after coming over from Xavier alongside Sean Miller in 2025. Though everyone knew he was good, I don't think anybody expected him to have the type of impact that he's had for the team this year.
After officially leading Texas to a NCAA Tournament bid that begins with a matchup against North Carolina State tonight, I think it's evident that Swain has his teammates ready to push for a Cinderella-like postseason run in 2026.
In a recent media session at UD Arena, a member of the media triggered Swain to discuss his NCAA Tournament goals and aspirations for Texas:
“I'm just focused on finishing the season as good as we can as a team, playing as hard as I can for my seniors and all the guys who won't be able to play anymore and trying to make a deep run for Coach Miller in his first year here at Texas and letting the country know how good a coach he is.
