UCF has been fined $25,000 after fans stormed the court during the Knights’ 88-80 win over then-No. 11 Texas Tech on Saturday.
“In accordance with Big 12 Conference Principles and Standards of Sportsmanship, the Conference has issued a $25,000 fine of UCF for the court storming prior to the conclusion of Saturday’s men’s basketball victory over No. 11 Texas Tech,” the league said in a statement.
Fans stormed the court, but were forced to return to their seats when officials issued a foul on Chris Johnson against Texas Tech’s Lejuan Watts with .
