Most of Adam Peters' focus during the early stages of the NFL's legal tampering centered on the defensive side of the football. He took some big swings on two wide receivers to no avail, but the Washington Commanders were at least trying to be aggressive in pursuit of improving the supporting case around star quarterback Jayden Daniels.
A signing was coming. And the first one represented another splash with significant upside attached.
According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the Commanders have agreed to terms with tight end Chig Okonkwo on a three-year deal.
