There were mixed reviews after the NFL Combine about Denzel Boston. Not as much due to his scores, but how he didn't fully participate. He only tested in two different events: the vertical jump and the 20-yard shuttle. Both were good scores, though he desired a better vertical; it felt incomplete. Especially for a player angling for the middle of the first round and being one of the top receivers out of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Boston wanted to save most of his testing for his UW Pro Day. It was there that he was able to wow the NFL Scouts and get buzz generated on his ability.
