The Washington women's basketball team was a shot away from heading to the Sweet 16. The Huskies took the No. 3 TCU Horned Frogs to overtime but couldn't quite pull it off. Unlike the distaste for the men's basketball program, there is an inability to see the future of what Danny Sprinkle is doing over there. Washington fans immediately shifted to what next season could be if the big three return: Sayvia Sellers, Avery Howell, and Brynn McGaughy.
These are three of Washington's top four scorers and overall weapons. Senior Elle Ladine is the other. Sellers is a junior with one year left, Howell is a sophomore, and McGaughy is a freshman.
