KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's basketball program had three student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team, it was announced on Tuesday. Redshirt junior Max Burton earned the honor for the third consecutive year, while senior Jayden Brewer and redshirt junior Trey Lewis were first-time selections.
Burton owns a 3.80 GPA as a Sales & Business Marketing major. The Williamston, Mich., native started 30 games for the Broncos this year, averaging 5.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per contest. He finished second on WMU in rebounding and was also second on the team with 16 blocked shots.
