WICHITA, Kan. — The No. 57 Wichita State men's tennis team was edged by Tulsa, 4-2, on Wednesday afternoon at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex.
The Shockers (12-8) saw their eight-match win streak snapped with the loss to Tulsa (11-10).
In doubles, Tulsa grabbed the early edge by defeating and , 6-2, at No. 3. and answered with a 6-2 win at No. 2. At No. 1, and secured the doubles point with a 6-4 win, giving the Shockers the early lead.
In singles, Tulsa regained momentum by taking four of six first sets.
