Nick Boyd was voted All-Big Ten Second Team by both the coaches and the media, and that's absolutely mind-numbing. He was arguably the best point guard in the Big Ten and easily one of the best players in the conference. It's not just Wisconsin fans saying this; there are many jumping to Boyd's defense. Lately, two more have joined the chorus of disbelief.
It started with Raphael Davis, a former Purdue player and current college basketball analyst. He posted on social media with a "Nick Boyd should have EASILY been 1st team." Davis then proceeds to list Boyd's stats in the games against Michigan, Illinois, Michigan State, Iowa, and Purdue.
